Passing through Magherafelt some weeks ago with my son and my 92 year old uncle, we happened to park in King Street and visited your fine new building on the afternoon before your opening. Pat mac Flynn was delighted to see the old school plaque for St Josephs where he attended all those years ago. Delighted you called it after the Mons- well deserved.

While down at Ballymena with my family I had a wee look at the parish site and enjoyed looking at all the pictures and the schools that my girls attended. New Row and St PiusX where my oldest daughter was one of the first pupils and of course New Row which myself and late husband Joe Mc Corry attended.
Well done!

Congratulations to all involved in the setting up of the new Pastoral Centre. It is a wonderful facility for the Parish. The opening of the centre on Suday night was a truly enjoyable occasion.Calling the hall "the O'Byrne Hall" was well deserved and a truly fitting tribute to a man who has served Magherafelt parish so well over the years
