I would so appreciate information regarding my G.Grandfather James Campbell who was born in Magherafelt 1850-1851 He would have been baptised possibly in either St. Treas or St johns, as they appear to be the earliest catholic churches at that time. Any help in locating his baptismal information would be gratefully received.

12. November 2012
I have been going through letters received by my mother, Eileen McGoldrick, from a man by the name of Charles. He wrote from an address on Church St. during the years 1953-1954. My mother had traveled with a cousin, Katie Young, from Pasadena, California to Ireland- spending some time in Magherafelt. They may have stayed with relatives of a William Young. Some names mentioned in the letters are Veronica, Bertie, and Mrs. O'Kane. I would greatly appreciate any information that Magherafelt parishioners may have regarding Charles.

Re Fr Brian Hackett by Margaret Cunningham from Ireland
01. September 2012
Hi, I was just wondering if Fr Brian Hackett is still residing in your parish. I believe he was a curate in your parish up to 1994. Myself and my friend may be visiting the area soon and would like to pay him a visit as we knew him well when he served in our parish of Faughart many years ago. Is it possible to get a contact number for him? Thanks for your help Margaret Cunningham 00 353 879520381 Mobile number
